Update: The support staff is aware of the problem and has been working on it for some time. It will not be a quick fix and they will be spending much of thier holiday weekend working on resolving the problem. We appreciate your continued support in this matter

Clarification: the methods shown in the FAQ thread will not currently help establish a connection. These methods are used when the server is happy, right now the servers are not happy.
